In order to participate fully in the communities in which our branches are located, American Enterprise Bank hosts events that provide education, entertainment and assistance to those communities. Please see below for details of upcoming events, as well as photos from recent events.
CBAI Foundation for Community Banking 2016 Annual Scholarship Program
As a member of the Community Bankers Association of Illinois (CBAI), American Enterprise Bank is participating in this scholarship program. Now in its 30th year, the program awards one student $1,000 a year for up to four years of higher education, plus a $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student in 12 of CBAI’s 13 groups and $500 to a second person in each group. Additionally, the high school of the overall winner will receive $500.
This program is open to high school seniors in Illinois and is not based on financial need. To enter, students must write a short essay about “The Importance of Community Banking.” Entries will be judged to determine the essays that best demonstrate an understanding of what a community bank is and its role in the local economy.
Application packets with all the details and the official form that must accompany all entries are available at our three branches. The deadline to submit entries to one of the American Enterprise Bank branches is 5pm on Monday, January 4, 2016.
